About James

James Zimmerman is a certified firearms safety instructor through USCCA. He currently holds certifications in Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, Firearms Instruction, and Women’s Defense. 

James began his path to protecting others early on when he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. During his service, he discovered martial arts and a passion for mentoring students wanting to learn self-defense. 

Through personal connection and an accommodating approach, James guides each student to develop strong basic fundamentals. Using various teaching styles, he has nurtured these skills to expert levels. 

Over the last 25 years James has developed more skills in both recreational and competitive archery and shooting. His continued desire to mentor and protect motivated him to establish Quantum Defense Innovations.
